Every September, there’s one more reason to visit Aegina.

The Aegina Fistiki Fest returns from 17 to 20 September 2026, bringing the island’s famous pistachio celebration to the port and streets of Aegina, with food, music, exhibitions, creative activities and events for all ages.

As a Major Sponsor of the 17th Aegina Fistiki Fest, Saronic is once again travelling alongside one of Aegina’s biggest celebrations.

When is Aegina Fistiki Fest 2026?
The Agricultural and Trade Fair of Aegina Fistiki Fest 2026 takes place from Thursday 17 to Sunday 20 September at the Port of Aegina.

Exhibition opening hours:
10:00–14:00 & 17:00–00:30

Along Aegina’s waterfront, local producers and creators welcome visitors, with the island’s famous PDO Aegina Pistachio naturally taking centre stage.

Throughout the four days, the festival also features concerts, live cooking, children’s activities, exhibitions and cultural events.

Face Painting – Become a “Little Pistachio”!
Pistachio-themed face painting at the Children’s Entertainment Pavilion for the festival’s younger visitors – and anyone else who wants to join the fun.

Concert: Estudiantina of Aegina
Aegina’s own musical ensemble sets the tone for the celebrations, bringing together professional and amateur musicians of all ages under conductor Alexandros Spitzing.

Visual Arts Workshop for Children
A children’s creative workshop inspired by the exhibition “Carving”.

Agricultural Conference

The Aegina Music Association MOU.S.A. brings music to Dimokratias Avenue and officially gets the celebrations underway.

A special performance dedicated to the pistachio tree, the generations of Aegina residents who have cultivated it and the role it has played in the island’s agricultural and economic life.

Polina, Kostas Bigalis, Sofia Vossou and Manto come together on the Fistiki Fest stage for a huge live party by the sea.

Young visitors become “sailors for a day”, learn useful nautical knots, explore a real Optimist dinghy and discover the basics of sailing.

Discover the space where one of Greece’s leading sculptors found inspiration and created his work for 30 years under the unique light of Aegina.

How to get to Aegina Fistiki Fest 2026
Aegina is close enough to Athens for a day trip, but during Fistiki Fest, you may want to stay a little longer and combine the festival with a walk around Aegina Town, a swim, great local food and some of the island’s most famous sights.
