The O.A.K of Aegina (Athletics Association) is organizing the 15th running race under the name "IOANNIS KAPODISTRIAS".
The race is under the auspices of the Municipality of Aegina.
Ioannis Kapodistrias, the first governor of modern Greece, is the most important personality in the modern history of our Nation. Aegina, where he arrived and took the oath upon assuming his duties, and which he designated as the first Capital of modern Greece, must honor his memory and contribution. As part of our island's celebration of Governor I. Kapodistrias, we are organizing a running race that will take place in the center of Aegina.

1) 200m Race for Kindergarteners

PRIZES – AWARDS
In all races from 500m to 21,100 meters, the first three athletes will be awarded with a cup
All participants will be awarded participation medals.
There will be age categories in the half marathon and the 10,000 meter race and they will be the following

40-59
60 and older

In the children's races, the awards will be held at 11.00 and in the other races at 13.45
TERMS OF PARTICIPATION:
Athletes who will participate in the 21,100 and 10,000m route must be 18 and 16 years of age or older respectively.
In the 3,000m race, in addition to Men / Women Runners and Walkers, Middle / High School children can participate, who will participate and compete under the responsibility of their Parents / Guardians. All runners participate at their own risk.
The participation cost is set for the 3,000 meters at ten (10.00) euros (electronic timing - medal - banana - water - souvenir gift), for the 10,000 at 12 euros (12.00) (electronic timing - medal - banana - water - souvenir gift) and for the 21100 meters at (15.00) (electronic timing - medal - banana - water - souvenir gift)
Payment will be made only by card so that the money can be refunded to the participants quickly, in case the race is postponed. The refund has a charge of 1.6 euros and is charged to the participant.
Cancellation of participation by an athlete can be made up to 15 days before the race. In this case the charge is 3 euros.
Participations that have not been completed after 7 days will be deleted, as will participations that will not be completed by 20/1/26
The ''Ioannis Kapodistrias'' race will be held on 25/1/26 in the city of Aegina with the following events.
21100 meters
10,000 meters
3000 meters ''GARIS KYRIAKOS'' running and hiking
The elementary and kindergarten races are registered on the day of the race and are free of charge
SAFETY
The race is supervised by the Hellenic Police, the PORT, and by volunteers. The Aegina Hospital “Agios Dionysios” and the Aegina Nephrology Center will provide their ambulances for the race. There will also be a doctor and physiotherapists, the Aegina radio amateur team, the emergency response team and the Aegina scouts team.
SUPPLY
Water supply stations will be located along the route every 2500 meters, for the 21100 meters there will be isotonic drinks
