The mountain running race, which is being held for the third year this year in Methana, on November 22 and 23, 2025, is expected to be more successful than ever!
Methana, with its ancient cobblestone streets, multiple volcanic cones and three miraculous thermal springs, is the perfect setting for the mountain running race ‘The GOAT of Methana’ with continuous changes of scenery, steep slopes, lush vegetation and unlimited views of the Aegean, the Saronic and Epidaurus.
On Saturday 22/11, the event will open with the children’s race GIDAKI and the POLO Fun Run 5K.
On Saturday evening, a big pasta festival and the gastronomic festival LALERI will take place at the Cultural Center of Methana with live music.
On Sunday, the 2 major routes will be held: Arsinoe 12K/ +680m and Pausanias 28K/ +1720m, starting from Methana and ending at the picturesque port of Vathi.
Many young and old athletes and even more visitors are expected to accompany this great athletic and cultural adventure, on the weekend of November 22-23, 2025, in the third edition of GIDI.
